It's not easy being Green

Or at least, it wouldn't be if the Greens ever had to enact any of their policies.

They want to stop global warming by stopping coal power. As for alternatives:

Hydro - no thanks, dams wreck the environment.
Nuclear - no, banned.
Gas - maybe, but still contributes to greenhouse.
Solar - no, far more expensive, and unreliable.
Wind - see Solar.

They also want to reduce working hours and increase wages.

Doctor, my head.

You are a strange one SG, instead of making a list of all the negatives you can think of, why not do a list of positives? It's your choice. you are the only one who can choose what you want to focus on...
Just a thought from someone who used to think similarly, it's re-training a different set of thinking pattern..takes time but you'll get there...:)
